What does a facilities management contract with Aspin Group include?
Our FM contracts are fully bespoke but typically cover planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for all building systems, statutory compliance management (fire, water, electrical, asbestos), reactive maintenance and repairs, cleaning coordination, grounds maintenance, energy monitoring, and a dedicated account management and helpdesk service. We can include as many or as few service lines as you need.
What is the difference between hard FM and soft FM?
Hard FM refers to services related to the building's physical fabric and mechanical/electrical systems — HVAC, fire safety, electrical, plumbing, lifts and structural maintenance. Soft FM covers support services such as cleaning, security, catering, waste management and grounds care. Aspin Group delivers both hard and soft FM, either individually or as part of an integrated total FM contract.
Do you manage compliance obligations as part of your FM service?
Yes — statutory compliance management is a core element of all our FM contracts. This includes fire safety testing and certification, water hygiene (Legionella risk assessment and treatment), electrical inspection and testing (EICR), asbestos surveys and management, and any other site-specific regulatory obligations. We maintain full documentation and alert you to upcoming renewal dates.
